I work in a callCenter in NY and I am always asked about VoIP for callCenters. I would like to know what is VoIP.

VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) allows you to call other people with VoIP or others who has a telephone number (local, long distance, mobile, and international numbers). It uses broadband connection instead of a regular phone line. There are various VoIP services and some would only work over your computer or a special VoIP phone while others use a traditional phone connected to a VoIP adapter.
